Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

Services

CW Custom Works Glass & Door LLC provides professional glass, window, and door installation services including but not limited to:

  • Window replacement and repair
  • Failed glass unit replacement
  • Custom shower door installation
  • Patio and storm door installation
  • Emergency glass repair services
  • Custom glass work

Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided are estimates based on information provided by the customer. Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions discovered during the project. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if unforeseen circumstances arise.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements have been made in writing
  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
  • A deposit may be required for larger projects or custom orders
  • Materials ordered specifically for your project are non-refundable

Warranties

Our Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind our work. Our lifetime warranty covers any damages due to the installation for as long as you own your home.

Product Warranties

Glass units and windows come with manufacturer warranties as specified at time of sale. Typical warranties include:

  • 20-year warranty on insulated glass units
  • Manufacturer warranties on window frames and hardware (varies by brand)
  • Manufacturer warranties for shower doors and custom glass work

Manufacturer warranties are void if products are not installed according to manufacturer specifications. We install all products to manufacturer standards to ensure warranty validity.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, or improper maintenance
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from acts of nature (storms, earthquakes, etc.)
  • Alterations or repairs performed by others
  • Conditions existing prior to our work

Scheduling and Cancellation

We make every effort to complete work on scheduled dates. However, weather conditions, material availability, and unforeseen circumstances may require rescheduling.

Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Access to Property

Customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to work areas. This includes:

  • Clear pathways to work areas
  • Removal of furniture or belongings that may obstruct work
  • Securing of pets during work hours
  • Access to electrical outlets and water if needed

Liability Limitations

We maintain appropriate liability insurance for our work. However, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage to property
  • Damage caused by customer's failure to provide safe access
  • Hidden conditions not discoverable during normal inspection
  • Consequential or indirect damages

Lead-Based Paint Disclosure

For homes built before 1978, federal law requires disclosure of lead-based paint hazards. CW Custom Works is EPA Lead-Safe Certified and follows all required protocols when working on pre-1978 homes.

Emergency Services

Emergency services are provided on a best-effort basis. Emergency service rates may apply for after-hours calls. Emergency boarding is temporary and permanent repairs will be scheduled separately.

Permits and Inspections

Unless otherwise specified in writing, obtaining necessary permits and scheduling inspections is the responsibility of the property owner. We can assist in obtaining permits if requested.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of CW Custom Works Glass & Door LLC and protected by copyright laws.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Ada County, Idaho.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Ada County, Idaho.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this website.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
